Importannce of Diet by Nadia Kiderman

Healthy diet is not only about maintaining body weight. The diet we take affects our teeth also. And unfortunately some of the healthy food that we take can cause tooth decay. Tooth decay is mainly caused by sugar and acids followed by incorrect brushing and flossing. So what are the preventions suggested by Nadia Kiderman? Reduce the intake of high plaque producing foods and brushing of teeth should be done several times a day.

Many different types of food can cause tooth decay in children, not just candy. Foods that are high in carbohydrates, as well as some fruits, juices and sodas, peanut butter, crackers and potato chips are culprits. Factors that cause tooth decay include the frequency in which the foods are eaten and the time they remain as particles in the mouth.

There is no need to leave your all the favourite food.
